Paint Questions
1. Is acrylic paint toxic?
We use non toxic acrylic paint that conforms to ASTM D-4236. It is also AP certified, meaning it has undergone an evaluation and contains no materials in sufficient quantities to be toxic to humans, including children.
2. Why do you use acrylic paint?
Lots of reasons. Acrylic paint is fast drying and mixes well with other colours. It doesn’t require as many applications and lasts longer than other paints.
3. Can I use something other than acrylic paint?
You can, but it won’t show up as well and might come off easier (ie. if you put your painted figures outside). Markers show up surprisingly well on the concrete.
4. Is acrylic paint washable?
Acrylic paint can stain some surfaces. Be sure to protect furniture and wear paint clothes.
5. How do I remove acrylic paint from clothes?
Apply dish soap or laundry detergent. Rinse in cold water. Repeat several times and then wash in cold water.
Paint Kits Questions
- Are the "paint party packs" the same as the mini’s?
The are similar to the mini’s because you receive 3 concrete pieces, 2 paintbrushes and 6 acrylic paints.
They’re different because when you choose a theme for your birthday or event, you get a variety of mini packs with different pieces but all under the same theme.
2. Do you accommodate custom themed birthday's/party's?

3. How long will the painted figures last if I put them outside?
If you’re putting the finished pieces outside, we recommend sealing them first to protect them from the elements. If you don’t seal them, I’ve had finished pieces last up to a season in the garden.
4. Does the planter pot have a drainage hole?
The planter does not have a drainage hole, which is why all planter kits come with rocks to place at the bottom of your planter to help with drainage.
